2025 Track and Field
The season starts on Saturday, March 22nd!
Registration for the season is now closed. Registration for Cross Country will open August 1st.
The Cascade Striders Track Program is a volunteer-run youth running club that coaches athletes 7 and older in running events 400m and longer. 5 and 6 year old athletes with older siblings on the club may take part on a case by case basis. All Strider athletes interested in hurdles and field events will get access to event-specific coaches.
For athletes looking to compete in the 100m, 200m, and multi-events, we recommend signing up with Bolt Track Club. Note that Bolt only supports athletes 9 and older.
To register, you will need a USATF membership number. Get one here.

WHO WE ARE
Cascade Striders is a volunteer run organization that provides young athletes (ages 5-18) with an opportunity to develop and build confidence in their running skills while training and competing with other athletes of similar ages and abilities in a supportive and fun environment.
We pursue that goal with the philosophy of holding the emotional and physical well being of the athletes ahead of all other considerations and providing a rewarding experience no matter what level of running skill or background.
We have coached athletes who later went on to become State champions, All-Americans, and even NCAA champions. But we are most proud of the huge number of athletes who have gone on to be lifelong runners, and who continue to push themselves to find their best in all that they do.
Our Team Values:
- Be healthy: whether facing injury, illness, or anything else detrimental, achieve good health first.
- Be coachable: trust in the guidance of your coaches to get the best outcomes.
- Be a great teammate: know that you cannot be your best without the support of your teammates.
- Be your best: How you place does not matter compared to how well you push yourself.
